• Customs Clearnce must be done at port of Entry and inland movement will take place 3/4 days after customs clearance. Goods moving in-Bond are subject to heavy surcharges and inspections

• As per government regulations, a tax of 10% on the Ocean Freight (Prepaid or Collect) will be billed by the carrier to the consignee. (Ports: Cairo and Port Said ONLY)

Rules apply on shipments destined to Lebanon

• Customs Authorities will not accept the word BUNDLE, PACKAGE OR PALLET unless the number of pieces on that unit is specified

• Freight Forwarders can not appear as Consignee or Notify Party or Shipper's Agent on B/L's, only actual Consignee/Shipper and IFS agent as Notify Party. Express Bills of Lading are not permitted

• IMCO Cargoes are subject to a special authorization from the General Ports Directorate. Please check before booking
